Men’s diamond wedding bands
Some may prefer to have

custom made. In this case you will want to consider some of these options, if you haven’t already done so.
Mens diamond wedding bands can be either a single diamond or it can be a number of diamonds. One popular style is to set a number of diamonds adjacent to one another in a row. This is often times referred to as channel setting. These could be diamond or colored gemstone. This is a very classy look and has unlimited possibilities for individualization.
For purposes of jewelry design it is advisable to look at color combinations in ring magazines, retail shops, and the internet. When considering the use of colored gemstones and diamonds it is possible to put a row or rows of gemstones ½,3/4 or full circle (eternity) around the band. Creating rows with alternating gemstones can create a very unique look. Most often precious stones are recommend for their durability. These include: diamond, ruby, sapphire, and emerald.

Another popular style is to set a single stone in the wedding band. Sometimes it is set into a separately cast plate which is inlayed in the ring. If the plate is white gold and larger than what is needed to set the diamond this is what is referred to as an illusion setting.
In any case, whether the ring contains a number of channel set diamonds or a single diamond the diamonds usually are set flush or nearly so with the surface of the ring. This is unlike diamond settings in women’s rings where crowns are frequently used. This does not mean that men’s wedding bands cannot contain diamonds set in at least low style crowns but, this is not the most typical style that is being used.
When using diamonds in the mens band, the shape of the diamonds need not be limited to straight lines as are found in the emerald cuts. Round diamonds are just as popular. In principal, there are no shape or size limitations but rather, cost is the most likely the determining factor.
Diamond band widths
The overall width of mens band can vary based on the groom’s preference. Typically men’s diamond wedding bands are made where their width is not less than 3mm or more than 10mm. The most popular width is 6mm. The groom’s width preference will no doubt be based on finger size and shape as well as his stylistic preferences.
His and hers matching wedding bands
Some couples have an interest in diamond wedding ring sets or at least rings that complement each other. This can be as simple as matching the color of the metal, and it can be as complicated as having rings that have a similar style appearance. It is not uncommon for people who want to deliberately create complimentary rings to have them
custom made.
This may involve a little more cost. The benefit is a much more unique and individualized result that could be very meaningful and engage them in a process that is much more memorable.
