Contemporary Christian jewelry

Contemporary Christian jewelry has become very popular in recent years. In the past, Christian jewelry primarily consisted of cross or fish designs. People are expressing a need to wear more contemporary Christian jewelry that is both more unique and meaningful.

The Christian designs are not limited to jewelry but to gemstones to reflect Christian themes Christian jewelry is by no means limited to these traditional symbols. Designs that incorporate a more contemporary feel will consist of cleaner lines and forms that appeal to the more modern imagination.

Precious metals within this design would be palladium, silver, white gold, and platinum. People can either DIY (design their own Christian jewelry) or select from existing designs. Christian jewelry can be more abstract and less conclusive to the average observer. And this abstact form of jewelry is worn to express spiritual values and can be extrordinary meaningful as a contemplative piece.

People wear Christian jewelry as a way to express the beauty of the inner sanctuary “Don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit”(I Cor. 3:16)? and to decorate their robe of glory or to remind themselves that they have put on the new man.(Col 3:10, Eph 4:24).
