Christian jewelry charms
Christian jewelry charms
are given for virtually any occasion but, the intent is to help the person remember the meaning that the charm represents. Charms are one of the oldest forms of jewelry worn. Christians have also adopted this form of jewelry and worn it for thousands of years.
Traditional Christian jewelry charms come in a variety of motifs and styles. The most common charms are produced in silver, white or yellow gold. Charms are used on all occasions. They make nice gifts because they are long lasting and have nice design. They are meaningful and charming, yet inexpensive.
The charm is usually worn as an attachment to another piece of jewelry. This other jewelry can be a pendant, but is most often worn as an attachment to a bracelet. Charms that are stamped or cast in silver have the advantage of being very inexpensive. The downside of silver whether sterling or pure is its tendency to tarnish.
Gold by comparison is relatively expensive. Its advantage is its resistance to tarnish and its tendency to look better longer, with a minimum of maintenance.
